Yuki Yonaga (better known by her stage name, Yuki Mitarai) is a Nishiyamese singer who currently resides in the province of Sasaki. Similar to Jetanie rapper Da.1.U.2, she is known for not getting along well with her workers, as well as being a generally arrogant person. She has earned the nickname "Pint-Sized Diva" by the media because of this.

Early life[]

Yuki did not have a rosy childhood. When she was 10 years old, her mother died of a serious heart disease and did not get along well with her father, as they would always fight. As a result, the youngster was sent to live with her grandparents. She attended Hinata Primary School from grades 1 to 5, and Hinata Secondary School from grades 6 to 9, as she dropped out at that time due to being diagnosed with depression. During her childhood, Yuki was always bullied for many reasons, mostly because of her depression and the fact that she lived with her grandparents.

Yuki never had a person she could call her "best friend", because nobody would bother to talk to her. Only one thing made her happy, and that was singing. She would write songs in her spare time and would sing so loud, her neighborhood could hear her. Her grandparents supported her chosen career path and were very proud of her. Things were finally turning out great for a then-teenaged Yuki, until her grandfather died of eye cancer. She spiraled into depression yet again, and has already attempted suicide five times by the time she was 18 years old. Her grandmother sent her to councelling and therapy, which have both helped. And before anyone knew it, Yuki was back to doing what she loved most - singing.

Yuki was signed to Made In Hinata Entertainment in 2015 and released her first single that same year. As of 2017, she has made 2 albums and a third one is set to release in February 2018.

Controversy[]

In 2016, Yuki was under fire for yelling at a 14-year-old fan of her music, because she was "pestering" the singer. Because of this, Yuki had to partake in 200 hours of community service, and released a formal apology on her Twitter account, which she deleted hours later.

That same year, she and her cousin, Aoi Yonaga, were both arrested for smoking marijuana. Marijuana is legal in Nishiyama, but only if it is being used for medical practices. They were arrested for 1 month. Yuki did not release an apology for this.

In addition, she is denied entry into China and Japan due to her legal troubles. In both countries as of 2016, her music is not played on radio stations or on any video sharing site. As a result, her songs to not make it to the respective music charts of both countries.
