Sears El Kadsre is a El Kadsreian-based chain of luxury department stores owned by Australian retailer JB Hi-Fi. The El Kadsreian division is no longer affiliated with the American store chain of the name.
The first El Kadsreian Sears opened in 1960 as a discount department store and had great success, over the years 156 Sears locations were open in El Kadsre making it the largest department store in El Kadsre.
In 2010 the company decided to start rebranding as a luxury department store as sales were falling because of stores like Myer-David Jones.
Due to Sears' financial trouble not allowing them to complete the luxury rebrand, the company was sold to Australian technology retailer, JB-Hi-Fi.
