Century CD is a CD add-on for the Century 16. It was the first video game console made by TechEruo to use CD-roms. It was also compatible with 3DO CDs.
History[]
The Century CD was originally planned to be a CD add-on for the Super Nintendo known as "Super CD" but after Nintendo of Eruowood rejected the plans TechEruo decided to make the add-on for their own 16-bit console, Century 16 and renamed it "Century CD". The add-on was released in Eruowood in March 1993 with the price of $199.00.

Trivia[]
- Century CD was one the worst selling TechEruo consoles along with the TV Sports II pong console.
- Diddy's Kong Quest was originally going to get a port on the platform with enhanced audio, similar to the first Donkey Kong Country game, but the CD version wouldn't be released until Donkey Kong Country Trilogy for the Century Theoron, which also ported over DKC CD as well as the third game, Dixie Kong's Double Trouble (with it's own CD remastered audio), into the game.
